Use the effects of priming to your advantage.
Priming is subconscious—even you were probably primed by the words you just read, and you didn’t notice! However, when you use polite and respectful words when you talk to others, they will automatically be polite and respectful toward you.
- Use priming words to elicit the desired response from others.
Refrain from using words that will prime their brain to be uncooperative or aggressive. Instead, use words such as “appreciate,” “patience,” “yield,” “polite,” “courteous,” etc.
