Use the principle of social proof to overcome your phobias.
When you watch others have happy interactions with the things that you have a phobia of, you will become less scared of that thing. This is due to the principle of social proof—basically, you will use their behavior to dictate yours.
- Watch clips of others interacting with the same thing that you have a phobia of.
For example, if you’re scared of dogs, watch video clips of others playing with dogs.
