When you watch others have happy interactions with the things that you have a phobia of, you will become less scared of that thing. This is due to the principle of social proof—basically, you will use their behavior to dictate yours.


  1. Watch clips of others interacting with the same thing that you have a phobia of.
    For example, if you’re scared of dogs, watch video clips of others playing with dogs.
