Retreat from the busy world

Instructions

  1. Periodically plan a retreat from the loud city life
You could go for one or two days, or even for a week, as Bill Gates does every six months.

  2. Read, write, reflect
This retreat shouldn’t be about lying in bed and doing nothing. It is a mental journey. So, read books, studies and articles. Write down your thoughts and reflect on your actions and decisions.

  3. Have an aim for your retreat
If there is no aim for those days, it will be suffering. The aim could be to come up with better ideas for your book. To deepen your self-awareness. Choose your aim before going there.
