Recondition your mind to achieve your financial goals

Instructions

  1. Write down the financial beliefs that you learned when you were a child.
Pay attention to your earning, spending, and saving habits. What behaviors and beliefs did you hear about rich people, money, and wealth when you were a kid? How did these beliefs affect your life?

  2. Declare to recondition your verbal programming.
Say this out loud: "What I heard about money isn't necessarily true. I choose to adopt new ways of thinking that support wealth and success. I have a millionaire mind".

  3. Write down your parents’ outlook on money to gain awareness of your financial model.
What are the beliefs and habits that your parents had around money? How identical or opposite are they to your current financial behaviors? How did this financial model affect your life? Write down your answers and reflect on how this model isn't you and how you can drop this set of beliefs right now.

  4. Declare to change your financial model.
Say this out loud: "What I modeled around money was their way. I choose my way."

  5. Write down a specific incident that you had about money.
What specific incident did you experience around money when you were young? How did it affect your current beliefs about money? Realize that your experience shaped your financial beliefs, and it wasn’t born with you.

  6. Declare to release that specific incident you had around money.
Say this out loud: "I release my unsupportive money experiences from the past and create new and rich experiences."
