Meditate.

Meditation will help bring you into the present moment and make your mind more receptive to inspiration. It will allow you to hear your inner voice more clearly and fill you with light and love. Whenever you are stressed, meditating for five to ten minutes will make you feel better.

Additionally, meditation can be used to help you gain a clearer perspective. If you start your meditation practice with a question or ask a question during your meditation practice, you may find yourself with an answer after the meditation session is over.

Instructions

  1. Sit in a comfortable, cross-legged position on the floor or in a chair, with your hands on your knees or in your lap.
Sit up straight and relax your entire face (especially your jaw and forehead).

  2. Close your eyes.
Alternatively, keep them focused on a spot on the ground slightly in front of you. You can even light a candle and focus on it.

  3. Focus on your breathing.
Feel your breath go in and out of your body. When your mind begins to wander to other things, redirect its focus to your breathing. Using a mantra is also helpful in keeping your mind focused on one thing.
