Focus on activities that make you happy
Spend three to five minutes each day meditating.
Try to focus on your breath in those few minutes.
Find something to look forward to and write it in your calendar.
Often, the most enjoyable part of an activity is anticipation. Are you excited about a movie that is coming out soon? A vacation? New TV show? Write down the date.
Commit five conscious acts of kindness in one week.
For example: hold a door for someone when exiting the building.
Go for a 20-minute walk each day.
Exercise for 45 minutes three times a week.
Spend money on activities.
You will have more positive feelings that will last longer if you spend money on experiences such as concerts, rather than material things such as shoes.
