Give yourself monthly performance reviews.

These monthly performance reviews will help you assess where you stand in terms of achieving your goals. They will also help you identify the areas of your life in which you need to improve.

Instructions

  1. Set small and large goals.
Your large goals should be long-term ones, and your small goals should be short-term ones that lead up to your large goals.

  2. Once a month, give yourself an honest performance review.
How are you faring? Where are you falling short? What tools, information, or support do you need to do better? Schedule this performance review in your calendar now.

  3. If necessary, consult others for critical feedback.
It’s difficult to stay unbiased when evaluating ourselves; you may find it helpful to ask someone else for their opinion on your performance.
