Eat snacks moderately


  1. Limit yourself to a handful when you reach out for a snack.
  2. Put a predetermined portion of snack on your plate, bowl, or napkin.
    This will allow you to set only the amount you plan to consume.
  3. Snack on things that require work, like pistachios in the shell.
    When you have to work for it, you eat less.
