Discover what you truly want to do by actively exploring your options.

Many of us find ourselves without a purpose or direction in life. However, we often have a lot more options than we think we do! The steps above will help you explore those options, and you may realize that your true calling is something you never even considered before.

Instructions

  1. Write your daydreams and fantasies down.
What do you daydream about when you’re staring out the window of a car or train? Think about the goals you expect to have achieved in the future and write them down.

  2. Break out of your comfort zone and experience new things.
Think about the things others do or have that you want to do or have too. Read magazines that interest you and hang out in places where people who share your interests hang out. Your calling may have something in common with the callings of the people around you. Put yourself out there and give yourself the chance to learn more about yourself by learning more about others.

  3. See what you can get away with.
Ask yourself, “Why not?” more often. You may discover likes and dislikes you never thought you had, and this may lead you closer to your true calling.
