Develop a product using the discovery techniques

Instructions

  1. Focus on results.
The product team must deal not only with what happens during development and production but also with the results obtained after it. The team must be able to answer the questions: Why are we building this piece of software? What user problem are we solving? Have we evaluated it with real users? What impact do we expect it to have on the business?

  2. Get closer to customers and users.
This will help you better understand customer needs and how you can develop valuable products based on their experiences and feedback. To do it, you need direct and frequent access from the product team to end users.

  3. Mitigate risks with continuous product discovery.
The risks that we must mitigate before developing the product are: value for customers and users, business viability, usability, and technical feasibility. Talk with your product team about the assumptions behind each idea or solution proposal. Start expressing them in the form of hypotheses and then propose learning experiments.
