    Reality-check the message that drives the idea of never being good enough. Examine the ideas you have about yourself and think about whether they are grounded in reality or not. Do they reflect healthy, wholehearted living, or do they turn your life and body into objects and commodities? Most importantly, who benefits from you having these ideas that make you feel bad about yourself?

  3. Let go of numbing behaviors.
    When you engage in behaviors that make you numb and take the edge off vulnerability, pain, and discomfort, you are also numbing your positive emotions, such as joy.
