Create a digital marketing framework for your business

Instructions

  1. Set a specific, measurable, and actionable goal.
Start with a specific goal. For example, your goal could be to improve your sales by 50% or sell a new product to 80% of your old clients.

  2. Chose a quantifiable Key Performance Indicator (KPI).
Your KPI could be any metric. For example, it could be the percentage of new clients versus returning clients, the number of Facebook views, or website clicks.

  3. Measure your current situation before your marketing campaign.
Use your KPI as your yardstick to measure your current stand. For example, how many sales do you currently have? What's the current percentage of new clients versus returning?

  4. Leap into your marketing campaign.
Start small but make calculated steps. For example, you could create just a series of Facebook targeted ads instead of creating ads on all social media platforms.

  5. Measure your campaign results against the KPI you laid out.
For example, compare your Facebook views before and after your ads.

  6. Learn from the framework.
Find out how you performed and whether you are close to your business goal. Also, ask yourself what you would have done the same or different.

  7. Plan another more effective campaign.
Use what you have learned to plan and execute a more effective campaign.
