Build a powerful email list to market your products effectively.

Instructions

  1. Get people to sign up for your email list.
You could put signup forms on your website or link to your email sign-up form in the email signature of your normal business correspondence. You could also share a few posts once in a while on your social media pages.

  2. Let your potential and existing clients know what to expect when signing up on your email list.
For example, you may decide to educate them about an existing product or inform them about a new product or service.

  3. Send only emails that are related to what your clients signed up for.
If your clients are bombarded with emails that don’t have anything to do with what they signed up for, then that's on you both ethically and physically.

  4. Focus on quality over quantity.
It's better to have, say, 300 super engaged people on your email list than up to 3000 people who do not even open your emails.

  5. Segment your email list and send targeted messages.
You could segment based on your client’s relationship with your organization or geographical location.
