Prevent subconscious beliefs from limiting you.
Becoming aware of these subconscious beliefs that limit you is the first step in changing them so they no longer limit you. Furthermore, believing in your ability to reject these beliefs and work toward your goals will ensure you achieve those goals.
Instructions
-
Identify an area of your life that isn’t working the way you want it to.
For example, you may be making less money than you know you’re capable of earning. -
Write down the first five things that come to your mind when you think about this area.
What do these five things say about your outlook on your chosen area of life? Are you hopeful that things may get better, or do you feel fear and loathing toward the way things are in the present? If your answer is the latter option, you likely have some subconscious beliefs that are limiting you. -
Think about the personal beliefs the people around you have/had about a similar area of life to the one you have chosen.
Are your beliefs similar to theirs? If so, they may have influenced your beliefs—beliefs that may be skewed by their personal biases and experiences and may not apply to your life. Question the validity of each belief of yours with this in mind, and it will be much easier to identify the subconscious beliefs that are limiting you. -
Focus on that which makes you feel good, and you will attract that which makes you feel good.
Forget about the past and your negative and limiting beliefs; instead, focus on what you can do in the future. Remind yourself to be positive and bring positivity to every situation, as the energy you put out into the universe will return to you.
