Be truly interested in others to build solid relationships.

Look at the dog. He is the greatest winner of friends the world has ever known, and all he does is give you affection, love, and interest. Similarly, if you express such a level of interest in others, people will be hard-pressed not to like you and want to build a relationship of any sort with you.

Remember: be patient, listen to all that the other person has to say, and relate what you want to talk about to their interests. You will find that your relationship with the other person will be stronger than ever.

  1. Sincerely listen to all that others have to say.
Be interested in them, and want to understand them.
  2. Smile!
Smile at everyone you look at—you’ll brighten both their day and yours.
