Accept the things you can’t change

  1. Give yourself 5 minutes to feel bad.
After this period, focus on how to forge ahead despite the challenge you are facing.

  2. Look at the brighter side of things.
For example, you may not have scored as high as you wanted on a test, but you may have improved significantly since the last one.

  3. Learn from your bad experiences.
Instead of wallowing in self-pity, think of what you could have done differently to succeed. Then, start doing it.

  4. Stay committed to your goals.
Do not allow your present challenges to derail you. For example, continue developing your new business even if you don’t have all the capital yet.
