Watch your diet—eat foods that keep your mind healthy, energetic, and focused.

Not only does this type of diet decrease your risk of developing high blood sugar and even diabetes, but it will also give your mind and body energy that lasts throughout the day. Sugary foods, on the other hand, may give you a burst of energy, but this energy will dissipate quickly.

When your mind and body have sufficient and lasting energy, you will be able to focus on what you need to do instead of getting distracted by every little thing around you.

Instructions

  1. Keep your blood sugar steady by eating low-glycemic foods.
This refers to foods with lean proteins, as well as nuts, beans, high-fiber cereals, and (most) fruits and vegetables.

  2. Stay away from sugary foods.
This refers to foods that have added fats, sugar, and chemicals.
