Wake up 30 minutes earlier.

If you can change your morning routine, you can change anything. It will catalyze a chain of events that leads to other positive changes. Also, you will have additional time in your schedule.


  1. Set your alarm 30 minutes earlier than usual.

  2. The moment it rings, open your eyes and start counting backward from five.

  3. Get up and walk out of your bedroom.
    Don’t hit the snooze and don’t go back to bed.

  4. Spend that additional time productively.
    Go jogging, exercise, go for a long walk with your dog, prepare healthy smoothies for your family, or do anything positive that you never have time for in the morning. Checking emails or reading the news on your phone doesn’t count.
