Use the power of determination to succeed in sales

Instructions

  1. Decide to become a confident seller.
    Start building strong self-esteem now; tell yourself repeatedly, "I like myself. I am capable. "I am going to be the best seller, etc." Repeat this each day until it becomes your mindset.
  2. Visualize your success.
    Constantly imagine yourself as the finest in your industry; what you "see" is what you become.
  3. Never give up.
    Decide in advance that you won't quit no matter what occurs; failure is not an option.
  4. Refrain from taking rejections personally.
    Accept rejections as a regular and necessary component of selling, much like the weather. Refrain from taking it personally.
  5. Follow the leaders in your field.
    Model yourself after the people in your field who are the most successful and make the most money, and do what they do. Discover what it is that they are doing, and then perform those actions yourself until you get the same outcomes.
  6. Become one of the top 20% of people in your business.
    Remember that no one is smarter or better than you—they just worked hard and educated themselves. By doing the same thing, you can outperform the competition, too! Know that you are capable, within reason, of doing anything that has been accomplished by anyone else.
