Use breath holds to enhance recovery after exercise
Instructions
- Perform this Breath Recovery practice to help cool down after exercise, or whenever you are agitated or anxious and need to calm yourself.
- Exhale normally through the nose.
- Pinch nose with fingers and hold your breath for 2-5 seconds.
- Release the hold, and breathe normally through the nose for 10 seconds.
- Repeat steps 2-5 for a total of 3-5 minutes, or until calm.
