Examples: Allspice, barberries, basil, bay leaves, cardamom, chili powder, cinnamon, cumin, curry powder, dill, garlic, ginger, horseradish, lemongrass, marjoram, oregano, parsley, pepper, peppermint, rosemary, saffron, sage, thyme, turmeric, vanilla.

Note: Turmeric is a special spice that’s worth including in your daily diet. Eat a quarter of a teaspoon every day.
