Develop beliefs and affirmations that will help you succeed


  1. Recognize the power of belief.
    Realize that your beliefs shape your reality and that your current life is largely a reflection of your innermost beliefs and convictions.
  2. Manage your beliefs.
    Write down the beliefs you have about yourself. Which of these beliefs will help you achieve success? Which are not? Keep the former beliefs and eliminate the latter. Make sure you only have beliefs that will help you achieve your goals.
  3. Create positive affirmations.
    Repeat positive affirmations to yourself until they become automatic responses to daily life.
  4. Engage in positive visualization.
    Create vivid mental images of the person you want to be, doing the things you want to do, and achieving the goals you want to achieve.
  5. Do the end-of-the-movie exercise.
    Imagine how you would feel if you had already achieved your goal. Imagine the feelings of pride, happiness, and self-esteem that you would experience as a result of reaching your objectives.
  6. Enhance mental pictures.
    Fill your mind with images and sensations of the reality that you desire to experience. Go and test-drive the car that you want, visit high-end clothing stores, and go to open houses in the neighborhood that you want to live in.
  7. Take responsibility for your life.
    Own your life and recognize that every decision you make has consequences.
