Change and replace a bad habit

Instructions

  1. Identify the habit you want to change.
Write down one habit you'd like to change as well as the reason why you want to change that habit. Then, think about how you will replace it with a new, healthier habit.
  2. Set achievable goals.
To increase your chances of success, break down the habit you want to change into smaller, more achievable goals. This will make it easier to stay motivated and on track.
  3. Reward yourself for progress.
Celebrating your progress, no matter how small it is, helps to reinforce the new habit and makes it easier for you to stick to it.
  4. Be consistent.
Consistency is key when it comes to forming new habits. Make sure to stick to your plan and don't give up if you have a setback.
  5. Be patient.
Habits take time to form, so be patient with yourself. It may take weeks or even months to form a new habit, so don't get discouraged if you don't see results right away.
