Take action, no matter how small, against your problems.

When you are confronted with particularly challenging obstacles, it’s difficult to find the motivation to take action to overcome it. But just sitting around worrying about your problems is actually extremely detrimental to your mental and physical health—worry has been scientifically proven to increase the chances of heart disease, high blood pressure, rheumatism, stomach ulcers, diabetes, and much more. Worry also damages your appearance by bringing on skin rashes and pimples, it may turn your hair gray and maybe even cause it to fall out, and it creates wrinkles.

You may not always be able to solve all your problems, but by taking action, you will lessen their blow.

Don’t stand silently by—take action!
The next time you are faced with a difficult problem, take action, no matter how small. It could be something as simple as forcing yourself to smile even when you are battling a terminal illness.
