  1. Surrender to unsatisfactory situations.
    Immerse yourself in the present moment and accept what is. Once you no longer have an emotional response to your situation, proceed with the next step.
  2. Look at the specifics of the situation to figure a solution out of it.
    Ask yourself, “Is there anything I can do to change the situation, improve it, or remove myself from it?” Take the appropriate action.
  3. If there is no action you can take, use the situation to make you go more deeply into surrender.
    Simply accept your situation.
