Instructions

  1. Recognize your own biases during disagreements. When angry, list what you think and feel, then also guess at what the other person is experiencing.

  2. Ask yourself who’s responsible for the clash, honestly. Are your actions contributing? Are you reacting from past hurts or your desire to win?

  3. Choose a response that builds bridges, not just walls. Decide whether voicing your truth, backing down, or agreeing to disagree serves the relationship best. Notice when it’s time to apologize or change your own approach.
