Shift to a clutter-free mindset

Instructions

  1. Remember the three layers of a clean home.
    Before you begin cleaning, concentrate on the first and second layers of a clean home. Declutter and finish daily tasks regularly.
  2. Adopt the “having less” mindset.
    Find ways to improve your living environment by using less stuff. This mindset adjustment will help you start decluttering and persist. Simply remove any unnecessary items from your house.
  3. Always remind yourself that home maintenance is a continuous process.
    Stop thinking of your house as an ongoing project with a beginning and an end. Consider housekeeping an ongoing activity in which you must perform little home duties daily.
