Instructions

  1. Only do things you enjoy
    Only think about people you enjoy being around. Only attend events that you consider fun and only hang out with people who genuinely love you. Only read books that you enjoy and help you grow. Do this every day.

  2. Take care of your physical body in small ways every day
    Eat healthy food and stay away from junk. Avoid eating too late as it may impact your sleep quality. Get enough exercise even if it means walking up the stairs instead of riding the elevator. Floss your teeth and get 7 to 9 hours of sleep a night.

  3. Take care of your emotional health
    Surround yourself with positive people who love and inspire you instead of critical or negative people. You can also practice a gratitude ritual every morning to build up emotional resilience against negativity.

  4. Take control of your mind instead of letting it run wild
    To prevent your mind from constantly obsessing over worries, fears, and useless thoughts, keep it busy with useful tasks. For example, set a goal to list down 10 ways to improve your work or start a business. Do this daily. Make sure the list is challenging so that your mind works hard. You can also read a book on a challenging topic to flex your mental muscles.

  5. Engage in a regular spiritual practice
    You can practice meditation to stay in the present moment. This can help you avoid worrying about the future or regretting the past. Learn to surrender and accept that you cannot fully control every event in your life. Trust that once you’ve done all the preparation possible, the right thing will happen.
