Set conditional goals to prepare yourself for either success or failure

Instructions

  1. Set your goals.
For example: “I will work out on Monday and Thursday this week.”

  2. Attach the conditional term to your goal: “...if nothing prevents me.”
With this type of goal, you are prepared to accept success and failure equally.

  3. Remember that the process is up to you, but the outcome is not.
Try your best to succeed while knowing the results are out of your control because anything can happen in life. That’s why you have to add conditionality to your goal.
