See bad dreams as preparation for life

Instructions

  1. When your dreams are unpleasant, see them as practice for life.
Ask yourself: What did I learn in this dream? What was I rehearsing? What life situation was I preparing for or trying to understand?

  2. Recognize that dreaming helps you remember and learn new skills.
Especially when in new environments or facing new life challenges, give yourself good quality sleep so that your dreams will help you learn and adapt.

  3. Watch out for dreams that signal physical symptoms, illnesses, and recovery.
If you are ill, keep an eye on your dreams to see if they offer guidance or insight into your situation. When dreams change, physical health can also change with them.

  4. Trust yourself and your interpretation of your dreams.
Dreams and intuition go hand-in-hand—there is no right or wrong way to do things when it comes to dreams. Whatever helps and feels right for you is the way to go.
