Instructions

  1. Develop a predictable hiring process.
    Determine a specific set of values to seek out in potential employees, take recommendations from team members, highlight the benefits of working at your company, and abide by a “hire fast, fire fast” approach.

  2. Delegate tasks when possible.
    Use the 70/10/80 rule of delegation. Find someone that can perform the task at a 70% success rate, teach them the remaining 10%, and be okay with 80%.

  3. Seek feedback about your management style.
    Develop trust and communication with your employees so they would feel comfortable giving you feedback.

  4. Develop and document processes for your team.
    Think of the tasks that could be based on a process, and create a reliable one for each. Document the processes with a tool such as Notion.

  5. Be transparent with your team.
    Share both wins and losses.
