Instructions

  1. Recognize your self-destructive behavior.

  2. Investigate the root cause.
    Dig deeper to understand the underlying reasons behind your self-destructive behavior. Reflect on your motivations, beliefs, and past experiences that may be driving these patterns.
  3. Re-train your automatic self.
    Which alternative behaviors can you adopt and practice that resonate with your goals and values? Consistently practice these new behaviors to establish healthier habits.
  4. Increase your self-awareness.
    Dedicate time for self-reflection and journaling to become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and triggers that lead to self-destructive actions. Pay attention to patterns and make a conscious effort to recognize them in real time.
  5. Exercise self-discipline.
    Set clear boundaries and establish rules for yourself to resist temptations and avoid falling into old patterns.
