Review your Life Plan regularly

Instructions

  1. Read your life plan daily.
For the first 90 days, read your Life Plan aloud daily.
  2. Review your plan weekly.
Pick one day during the week for a 30 min weekly review. First, carefully read your Life Plan. Review your past and upcoming calendars and to-do lists, delete what you don’t need anymore, and take note of the things you need to do.
  3. Revise your plan quarterly.
Review your life plan every three months and make changes to make it better. For example, you might need a new purpose statement or quote to motivate you. Most importantly, you should look at your current situation in each life account and, if necessary, rewrite your specific commitments. Finally, take your Life Plan evaluation and transform it into concrete 90-day goals - list your top five to seven goals for the next quarter.
  4. Revise your life plan annually.
Once a year, examine your life plan in depth, review what you've done in the last year, and think about your goals for the following year.
    • Review your outcomes: Is there anything you should modify about how you wish to be remembered?
    • Review your priorities: do you need to modify or add new Life Accounts? Have your priorities changed?
    • Review action plans: Should you make new action plans for your new Life Accounts? Does each account's "ideal future" make sense to you? What's different about your current situation?
