Respect your boundaries


  1. Recognize your limits.
    Make a list of all of your boundaries in different categories: physical, sexual, mental, intellectual, emotional, material, and time. Familiarize yourself with these boundaries.
  2. Express your boundaries.
    Make sure to clearly and directly communicate your boundaries to others. Be confident when expressing these boundaries.
  3. Establish consequences.
    If your boundaries are crossed, set consequences for the person who violated them.
