Redesign Your Success Scorecard Now

from Leading at a Higher Level: Blanchard on Leadership and Creating High Performing Organizations by Kenneth H. Blanchard

How to Apply This

  1. List Your Current Success Metrics. Review what you (and your organization) currently measure as success. Write down if you mainly focus on profits, growth, or other numbers.

  2. Map Out the Quadruple Bottom Line. Create a chart with four columns: Employer of Choice, Provider of Choice, Investment of Choice, and Corporate Citizen of Choice. For each, answer: What are we doing? Where are the gaps?

  3. Set Improvement Goals for Each Area. For any bottom line with gaps, brainstorm two actions or changes you could implement in the next quarter. Make these realistic, time-bound, and measurable.
