Practice stillness using nature.

When you look at a tree (or anything that forms part of nature) and notice its stillness, you connect with it at a very deep level, and you become still yourself. Whenever you deeply accept a moment as it is, you are still and at peace, and nature has the ability to teach you this stillness.

Instructions

  1. Spend 15 minutes a day looking at something natural.
For example, look at a tree, flower, or other plant.

  2. Notice how still they are, how deeply rooted they are in just being, and allow yourself to become completely immersed in noticing.
That is all you need to do.

  3. Let your next words and actions come from stillness...
... without any planning in your mind whatsoever.
