  2. Identify Their Development Level. Categorize each person as Enthusiastic Beginner, Disillusioned Learner, Capable But Cautious Performer, or Self-Reliant Achiever.

  3. Match Your Leadership Style to Each Level. Provide Directing, Coaching, Supporting, or Delegating as appropriate. Check that your intentions are understood, not misread as micromanaging or neglect.
