Overcome your fears

Instructions

  1. Talk to your fears.
When you talk to your fears, it separates the fear from you. Address the fear, tell yourself that you are aware of the fact and accept it. Detach the fear from you. Look for solutions that can be applied to manage the fear.

  2. Make a distinction between useful and harmful fears.
For example, fearing that you might meet an accident if you step out of the house, is a harmful fear, as it will only limit your potential and experience in life. The fear of being late will always make sure that you complete your work on time and is a useful fear.

  3. Manage your harmful fears by breathing slowly.
You may feel like your body is on high alert or you like it is starting to shut down. Don’t panic. Focus on breathing slowly instead.Use your breathing to realign your body and mind.
