Name, Journal, and Address Your Hidden Jealousies

Instructions

  1. Acknowledge when you’re jealous or angry. Pay attention to irritations—sibling rivalry, envy of a friend’s attention or accomplishments.

  2. Write bluntly about these feelings without censoring. Use your diary or a private document to explore not just what happened, but why you felt slighted or angry. Include any patterns—do you notice it’s often over the same issues?

  3. Talk it out, apologize, or practice letting go. Consider who needs to hear your truth or who you can safely share this with. Sometimes, just expressing the emotion is enough to move past it.
