Motivate yourself to be consistent

  1. Find your purpose
What do you love to do? What are you good at? How does this impact the world? How are you going to get paid for it? Reflect on how these answers overlap - when you have one answer for all four questions, you’ve found your purpose.
  2. Spend time on your goal every day
Write your goal down. Then, write down the action(s) you need to take in order to achieve this goal. Schedule time for these actions every single day, and cross it off on your calendar once you complete it.
  3. Make your goal public - raise the stakes and motivate yourself further
Tell your friends or coworkers about your goal. You can even post about it on social media. This will hold you accountable for achieving it.
  4. Declutter your life to bring peace to your mind
Consider a more minimalistic way of living. Get your finances in order: settle your credit cards and reduce your loans.
  5. Work on your health: physical, mental, emotional
Get quality sleep, regular exercise, and eat well. Practice gratitude, and gain strength from the impact of your work. End each day on a positive note by reflecting on all the things you did well.
