Master transitions between activities.

Being intentional about how you want to feel and move through the activity will make your mind more present. Mastering transitions will increase the energy and focus you put into the task and allow you to release any tension, stress, or anxiety you might have had from the previous activity. Try to do this practice once an hour.


  1. Release tension.
    Before starting a new activity, close your eyes for 1-2 minutes and repeat the word RELEASE. Relax and release the tension in all of your body parts, your face, and your mind. Breathe deeply.

  2. Set intention.
    Define the energy you want to bring into this next activity. How can you do this activity with excellence and enjoy the process?
