Manage your internal dialogue

Too often internal dialogue doesn’t bring about anything constructive. It deals with past situations or conversations that cannot be changed. It is a waste of time. If your internal dialogue limits you, it is even more important to mute or change it.


  1. If you notice negative internal dialogue, simply turn down the volume.
    Make the sound softer, weaker, and further away.

  2. If your internal dialogue limits you, change the tone of the voice in your head.
    For example, you can imagine a sexy voice with a flirtatious tone saying, “You can’t do it.” This voice will probably make you feel even more motivated to succeed.
