Manage your anxiety

Instructions

  1. Put your worries on paper.
Buy a journal that you will only use for junk journaling. Whenever you feel anxious and worried, sit down and write whatever comes to your mind.
  2. Recognize the signs behind your anxiety.
Each time you finish journaling, analyze what you wrote. What is your fear trying to tell you? What is behind it? What actions should you take to minimize anxiety? What should you stop or start doing? Your answer could be something like: ā€œI should stop isolating myself and start connecting with people to defeat my fear of loneliness.ā€
  3. Maintain deep relationships.
Build and sustain strong and meaningful relationships with close people - deep bond with others is an anxiety cure. Spend time with close friends and family, communicate with them, express your thoughts, feelings, and fears to them, and listen to their concerns.
  4. Step outside of your comfort zone.
Despite the uncertainty, step forward and do what you want and need. Uncertainty does not mean that things will not turn out as they should.
