Instructions

  1. Make staffing decisions to maximize strengths and minimize weaknesses.
    Appoint and promote based on merit - what a man can do.

  2. Make each job demanding and big.
    Each position should challenge the occupant to bring out whatever strengths they may have.

  3. Appraise others to determine if they are right for their jobs.
    Measure their performances while focusing on their skills and abilities rather than on their jobs.

  4. Put on with the weaknesses of others.
    To get strength, you need to put on with the weaknesses of others as long as their strengths in major areas are relevant.
