Live deeply and wholeheartedly

Instructions

  1. Be a good listener.
When communicating with others, focus on building connections and understanding rather than being right or persuading people of your view.

  2. Always ask questions—take nothing as it appears, but use your reason and logic to get to the bottom of things.
A Stoic’s task is to look beneath the surface to the deeper essence of whatever you encounter.

  3. Dedicate yourself wholeheartedly to something you value—your work, passion, vocation, craft, or hobby.
Commit time and effort to it for the sake of the common good.

  4. Work diligently, with grace and perseverance.
See your work as a gift you offer to the world, and have faith in your own efforts.
