Live a meaningful life

Instructions

  1. Find your values.
How would you describe the person you want to become? What do you want to be known for? What do you want your efforts to stand for? What do you wish to contribute? What qualities do you want to bring to each aspect of your life? List all the values you care about. For example, honesty, kindness, gratitude, independence, connection, bravery, compassion, fairness, professionalism, etc.
  2. Set goals according to your values.
Choose goals that will help you get closer to your values. For example, if compassion for others is one of your values, your goal could be to remember key anniversaries of loved ones and spend time with them.
  3. Build a meaningful and long-lasting connection with loved ones.
Decide who you want to be, how you want to act, and what you want to bring into your relationship. Listen to your partner's needs and feelings, and show you care. When in conflict, use respectful language and express your feelings and needs. Find shared values, communicate, and support each other.
