Instructions

  1. Arrive early if you can.
    Walk the stage to visualize and own the stage.

  2. Go into a quiet room nearby, and use visualization to get into a state of confidence and warmth.

  3. Pause before you start.
    Count three beats, facing the audience, before you begin to speak.

  4. During the presentation, expect things to go wrong.
    Use the midcourse correction tools you’ve just learned to react.

  5. Throughout your speech, remember to pause, breathe, and slow down.

  6. Don’t run off stage.
    Pause after your last words.
