Learn from your mistakes

Instructions

  1. Check your beliefs and sources
Write down three beliefs you hold and the sources you used when you formed those beliefs. Ask yourself how you formed the belief and what it will take for you to change it.

  2. Identify ten purchases you’ve made over the last months
Ask yourself whether you were influenced by advertising, or whether you genuinely needed those products/services.

  3. Write down the biggest mistake you’ve made in your life.
Think about what you’ve learned from it, and whether you’ve repeated it.

  4. Use affirmations
Frame them in a heart-centered way so that they can inspire true change. For example, instead of telling yourself, “I am patient with myself”, try saying it this way: I feel patient with myself.

  5. Learn from other people’s mistakes
They present a learning opportunity without the negative consequences on your life.
