The condition that is labeled “illness” has nothing to do with who you are. When you practice this habit, you will transmute your fear and pain into inner peace and serenity. You will suffer no longer.


  1. Do not feel that you have failed in some way because of your illness or disability.
    Do not blame life for treating you unfairly, but do not blame yourself either.
  2. Do not give your illness any past or future.
    Focus on the present moment only. What is cannot be undone - so accept what is. Witness the grief, despair, fear, etc. that you feel without judging it.
