Introduce more play into your life - and get enough sleep to keep your energy levels high

Play is a vital driving force for creativity and exploration. When you introduce more play into your life, you open yourself up to exploring old and new ideas to come up with fresh perspectives. However, you will need sufficient sleep to actually have the energy for both work and play!


  1. Think about what you did as a child that excited you.
    Then try to recreate it today! For example, if you loved to read as a child, you can hang a framed poster of a children’s book illustration in your office.

  2. Introduce some play into your workplace.
    For example, you could decorate your workplace with action figures. Or, you could keep a big red button on your desk to press every time you complete a task.

  3. Schedule 7 hours of sleep for every night in advance.
    If you know you have to be up by 7 AM the next morning, make sure you get to bed by midnight!
